"DEFAULT makes its third release an impactful one with a range of talent
in the likes of Chad Andrew, Cerec, Avidel, and of course label boss
Exander.
Enigma commands attention. A pulsing analog symphony
breathes life into its 4/4 structure and sends the listener into the
most creative corner's of Exander's mind; creating a unique groove that
ripples its way through time and space.
Chad Andrew's Elemental
presents itself playful, energetic, and funk-infused. It lends itself to
the nostalgic feeling of a well deserved night out and the familiar
taste of a classic rhythm.
On the B-side, Cerec gifts us with
Shinobi, a moody and wet display of engaging synths driven by a
suspenseful cadence. It's depth is not for the faint of heart, as it has
an affinity for unknown hours of the night and unlit dance floors.
Closing
out the release is Avidel's Aguamenti. Juxtaposed against B1 with an
uplifting melody, the Panamanian creates a track that is unobtrusively
Latin and resoundingly celebratory"
