Rising star Camelia has yet to put a foot wrong since kicking off
Botanic Minds' excellent Sunset Series in the autumn of 2017. The
American producer followed that up with solid EPs on Sports Records and
RORA, and here kicks off 2019 in confident fashion. He kicks things off
via the undulating deep space electronics, chunky analogue bass and
rolling tech-house beats of "Forerunner", before exploring deeper
pastures on the lilting late night dancefloor bliss of "Milagro", where
echoing piano riffs drift across a starry-eyed soundscape. Side B is all
about "Burner", with Camelia's spacey, Motor City-influenced tech-house
original version coming accompanied by a bolder, chunkier and
acid-flecked remix by Arapu.
Hailing from Italy, Milan
based label Fake Society salutes with a strong debut. Recently forming
family presents uncharted sounds, believing in groovy, deep driven and
futuristic minimal music.
The debut vinyl-only Ep on Fake Society
Records brings out the young talent on rise, Camelia, with a
mesmerizing 4-tracker including remix of Romania's one and only Arapu.
